On the afternoon of July 15, 2026, the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics convened a school-wide meeting in Conference Room 111, IC Building, Chang’an Campus. Dean Ma Binghe presided over the meeting, and all faculty and staff members were in attendance.
At the meeting, Dean Ma Binghe delivered a comprehensive review of the School’s work during the 2026 Spring–Summer semester, covering scientific research, team development, talent cultivation, and international cooperation, and briefly outlined the work plan for the next stage. He stressed that the School will continue to focus on the urgent strategic needs of the country, seize development opportunities, and advance talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, industrial services, and international exchange in a coordinated manner—further consolidating the foundation, reinforcing distinctive strengths, and taking the School’s endeavors to a new level.
School Party Secretary Yang Nihua made dedicated arrangements for safety and stability during the summer vacation. She emphasized the need to strictly implement safety management responsibilities for students remaining on campus and to provide them with proper care and support, and also briefed and reminded faculty and staff on issues related to cybersecurity, confidentiality discipline, travel, and laboratory safety. The meeting also included a dedicated briefing on research integrity requirements.
Finally, the School convened the Third General Meeting of Members of the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics Branch Trade Union. In accordance with the trade union charter and relevant approvals, the meeting carried out the election of a new School trade union committee for the coming term.
The meeting reviewed the School’s work in the first half of 2026 and further clarified the direction of future development. The entire School will seize the major strategic opportunities in integrated circuit development and, with heightened morale, contribute to the development of the university.
