To build an engagement platform for high-quality prospective students, showcase the School’s academic strengths and distinctive approach to talent cultivation, and attract outstanding students to the field of integrated circuits, the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics held its 2026 Summer Campus Open Day on July 10. The event was conducted online, and, through featured sessions such as School presentations and cutting-edge academic lectures, offered students nationwide a professional academic experience.
To open the event, Assistant to the Dean Li Tianlun delivered a dedicated presentation. She introduced the School’s accumulated legacy and strengths in academic discipline development, scientific research and innovation, faculty development, and talent cultivation, and highlighted the School’s core advantages as a National Integrated Circuit College, together with research achievements in key areas such as chip design and micro- and nano-devices. She also explained in detail the School’s scholarship and financial aid policies and entrance examination subjects, and welcomed outstanding students to apply for further study.
Following the presentation, four faculty mentors—Zheng Ran, Sun Li, Bai Xudong, and Wang Ying—delivered cutting-edge academic lectures in turn. Focusing on such frontier topics as application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) for radiation detection, phased-array antenna design, intelligent metasurfaces, and third-generation semiconductors, they shared recent research achievements and outlined the latest developments in the field, fully demonstrating the School’s strong research capabilities and vibrant academic atmosphere.
The Campus Open Day comprehensively showcased the School’s distinctive educational strengths and research mission, and brought mentors and outstanding prospective students closer together. Looking ahead, the School will continue to orient itself toward national strategic needs and devote sustained effort to cultivating top-notch talent in integrated circuits, steadily supplying high-caliber professionals for the high-quality development of China’s integrated circuit industry.
