On the evening of October 18, the 2025 Welcome Gala and Culture & Arts Festival of the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics, Northwestern Polytechnical University, opened on Chang’an Campus. This was the first welcome gala organized by the School on its own, and all acts were performed by its students. Associate Dean Yin Yue, Deputy Party Secretary Yu Peng, class advisors, counselors, and all Class of 2025 undergraduates attended.

Before the gala, Dean Ma Binghe sent remarks and greetings by video, which were well received by those present. The program included a strong mix of acts: a set by the HighCold band got the crowd going; student singers followed with familiar favorites; the solo dance Roar, the dance medley Youth Never Sleeps, and an instrumental ensemble kept the energy high. The skit Finding the Heart, featuring counselor Wang Yixing, drew a clear response from the audience and stood out as a highlight of the night. The prize draw also stayed lively and gave the evening a memorable close.
