At 16:00 on April 9, the Caijiamo Contest, co-hosted by the Student Union of the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics and the Youth League branch of Class DL062539, got under way. The contest included individual and team events, judged by how close each entry was to a target weight. Faculty and students from several schools across the university took part, in a fair, open, and cross-school event.

At the start of the event, He Ruijie of the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics spoke and opened the contest, wishing participants both enjoyment and closer ties through the competition. Host Zhang Kexiang, head of the Student Union Office Department, then read out the rules: the individual event had a target weight of 506.5 g, and the team event a total target of 2026 g. Li Yutong, also head of the Office Department, served as judge, and students of Class DL062539 kept order on site and helped the contest run smoothly.

The competition ran smoothly. After each team called out its slogan, entries were prepared and weighed in the order drawn by lot. Contestants measured portions carefully—showing steady hands in the individual event and working as fours in the team event—and there was a good deal of laughter throughout. When the contest was over, participants sat down to share the caijiamo they had made. A few students also sang to add to the mood, and the gathering stayed warm and easy-going.

The contest also showed the School of Integrated Circuits And Microelectronics’s ability to organize and its focus on serving students, with efficient teamwork from planning through on-site support. It brought faculty and students from several schools together and added a warm, down-to-earth note to campus culture.
